Last Summer we were instructed by James* (not his real name).
James was subjected to horrific abuse by his two half-brothers.
One of the half-brothers subjected him to physical abuse, sexual assault, and threatening behaviour, the other also subjected him to threatening behaviour, made false allegations against him, and made threats to kill him with a knife.
Our expert team took instructions from James, carefully completed his witness statement, and submitted an application to the Court for an emergency non-molestation order which was granted on an interim basis.
One of the brothers accepted the order against him however the other contested it which resulted in the court setting directions to file evidence and disclose to the police. The order was made final against him at the final hearing.
