Born in London, Alasdair studied Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, before undertaking the GDL and Legal Practice Course to train as a solicitor. Alasdair began working as a paralegal in 2012, qualified as a solicitor in 2016, and joined us in 2017.
Alasdair has considerable experience in family law matters, particularly in matters relating to domestic abuse and disputes involving children. He also has experience in divorce and matrimonial proceedings, and in Public Law cases involving Local Authorities. Alasdair undertakes his own advocacy and has represented clients in many County and Magistrates Courts. Alasdair deals with both publicly funded (Legal Aid) and privately funded clients.
