Christalla studied Law at the University of Kent, achieving a First Class Honours degree. She went on to study her LPC at the University of Law in 2015 when she also began working as a Paralegal at a national law firm, specialising in childcare & family law. Christalla qualified as a solicitor in 2017.
Christalla has always been passionate about law and helping the most vulnerable members of society whereby she has considerable experience in assisting clients in Care Proceedings including serious allegations of non-accidental injury, fictitious illness, substance misuse and vulnerable parents with learning difficulties where extra support and assistance is required at Court. She has represented parents in Care Proceedings and also assisted child panel member fee earners in complex care proceedings.
Christalla also represents clients in Private Law children matters involving disputes over contact and residence of a child, specifically where there are allegations of domestic violence and abuse whereby Fact Find Hearings are required. This has also included application for prohibited steps orders, preventing removal of a child from a parent’s care and also making applications to court for a child to be returned to the primary carer.
Christalla further assists victims of domestic violence in Family Law Act proceedings to obtain injunctions, such as non-molestation orders and occupation orders. Christalla prides herself on her personable, organised and empathetic approach to cases and she also attends court to represent clients.
