Attia Hussain

Attia Hussain is a Supervising Solicitor-Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience.

Attia has specialised in Family and Children Law since 2008 and offers her clients continuity of representation both in the office and at Court. She usually undertakes the advocacy in most of the cases she handles.

Described in the Legal 500 as ‘…passionate about her clients and goes above and beyond in trying to achieve the best outcomes for them.’

Attia has been an Accredited Children Panel member since 2012.

Attia’s expertise includes Public and Private Children law cases, including those with a crossover criminal law aspects including alleged grooming, sexual offence cases, non accidental injury, deaths involving adults and children. Attia also deals with all aspects of complex Children Law matters including Wardship,  Adoption, termination of a parent’s parental responsibility, child human trafficking and cases involving jurisdictional issues for children.

Attia also represents children through their Children’s Guardians and often acts for children who can instruct a solicitor independently, she is frequently instructed in Deprivation of Liberty and Secure Accommodation applications involving children often at very late notice.
