Roles & Interests
I am currently a Trainee Solicitor and have been an integral member of the team since 04.06.2018. I will be qualifying as a solicitor within Family Law in 2022. I am a confident, passionate and skilful in the work I do.
My role consists of consulting with clients, taking their instructions, advising the client’s on the areas of law suited to their situation, drafting and preparing documents, issuing applications with the court and carrying out advocacy on ay court hearings.
Working within the area that I do means that I am able to assist vulnerable victims of Domestic Abuse and assist those that are having difficulties in respect of any chid arrangements, it enables me to help my client’s set out clear boundaries and help them move forward in life. It has been rewarding for me to know that I have been able to achieve the outcome sought from my client’s, which I believe reflects my hard work and the level of client care I am able to provide. My work and passion is acknowledged by my client’s and I am shown gratitude for all my hard work.
I wish to continue working for NLS in the long term, to qualify as a solicitor, enrol on the children’s panel and eventually progress to the role of a supervising solicitor within the next five years.
Life Before NLS
Before my arrival at NLS I was volunteering at the Personal Support Unit, an organisation supporting litigants in persons with all Civil matters.
I was also working alongside my volunteering role.
Fun Fact
I’m a food enthusiast, a thrill seeker, love travelling to explore culture and tradition and enjoy baking though I am nowhere near perfect!
