Jagjit specialises in all areas of family law and her areas of expertise is domestic abuse and private children matters. Jagjit graduated with a law degree in 2014 and subsequently completed her legal practice course in 2015. Jagjit joined NLS with 8 years of experience in family law with a dedicated background in legal aid and has represented clients for Non Molestation orders, Occupation orders, Transfer of tenancy, Specific Issue orders, Prohibited Steps orders, Child Arrangements orders and Parental Responsibility orders. Jagjit is passionate about assisting victims of domestic abuse and comes with an empathic approach. Jagjit undertakes her own advocacy as she understands how daunting Court processes can be for vulnerable clients and the importance of continuity.
