Our National Legal Service team successfully completed the 10km York Legal Walk on Wednesday 8th July 2026, joining legal professionals from across the region to raise funds for three fantastic local organisations.
Representing National Legal Service were John Wilson, Laura Burke, Marcus Hulme and Julia Kulczewska, who took on the challenge despite the warm summer temperatures. Their efforts helped support Citizens Advice York, North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre, and York Music Hub.
Supporting Local Communities
The York Legal Walk brings together members of the legal profession to raise awareness and vital funds for organisations that provide advice, support and opportunities within our local communities.
Citizens Advice York offers free, independent advice to people facing a wide range of issues. North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre provides advice and legal support to individuals and families across the county, while York Music Hub helps children and young people access music and creative opportunities.
These organisations make a meaningful difference to people’s lives every day, and we are proud to have supported their work through this year’s event.
Thank You
We would like to thank everyone who donated, shared messages of encouragement and supported our team throughout the fundraiser. Every contribution helps these organisations continue delivering essential services to those who need them most.
We would also like to thank the Yorkshire Law Society for organising another successful York Legal Walk and everyone who took part in making the event such a success.
Congratulations to John, Laura, Marcus and Julia on completing the walk and representing National Legal Service with such enthusiasm and commitment. We are incredibly proud of your achievement.
