I had a career change from the private sector into law from 2013, initially working as a Legal Secretary/Paralegal in the Family department of a Teesside multiple firm, moving into Court Duty work for Housing matters at Hartlepool County Court before it closed. I then became a Trainee Legal Executive at a Criminal/Family firm in Middlesbrough from 2016 to 2018 before completing my training in the Family Department at a Northeast multiple firm in Darlington. I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive Advocate in 2023. I have been with National Legal Service since 2024.
I specialise in child care, private law children, and domestic abuse. My strengths are being a calming influence when clients are often going through some of the worst times in their lives, advising and assisting them through the legal steps in their case. The vast majority is my work is publicly funded. I cover Northeast courts from Middlesbrough to Bedlington.
