Professional Overview

I have a busy care proceedings practice and also maintain a caseload of private children law and non-molestation order matters. I regularly support clients through sensitive family law issues and aim to provide clear, practical and empathetic guidance throughout their case.

Experience and Background

I qualified as a solicitor in May 2023. Before qualifying, I worked in the legal practice team of a large children’s rights charity in London, where I gained valuable experience supporting children, young people and families.

My background also includes experience in immigration and asylum law and education law, including special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This has given me useful insight into areas that often overlap with family law and children’s services involvement.

I hold an LLB and an LLM in Law from the University of Lancaster. I also completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Bloomsbury Campus.

Skills and Approach

I regularly conduct my own advocacy and am also instructed on matters for colleagues. Representing clients both in court and during the preparation of their case allows me to develop a detailed understanding of each matter from start to finish.

I take an empathetic and client-focused approach. I work to understand each client’s circumstances clearly, explain the process in a straightforward way and support them in identifying the best possible way forward.

Achievements and Memberships

I am a member of Young Legal Aid Lawyers and remain committed to access to justice and supporting clients through publicly funded family law work.
