Raman qualified in 2015 having trained with a top 20 law firm. Raman began her career as a specialist medical negligence and child abuse lawyer. She has extensive knowledge of dealing with those who have been subjected to sexual, physical and emotional abuse as well as neglect. Raman’s specialist knowledge in this area has attracted significant media attention and she has provided commentary in the press and on both national and regional televised news and radio.
Aside from work, Raman is the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Rape and Sexual Violence Project (RSVP) based in Birmingham. Raman plays a key role in ensuring the delivery of a number of objectives in line with RSVP’s values, mission and activities.
