This June, a team of dedicated colleagues from National Legal Service will take to the streets of London to walk 10 kilometres in support of a cause that strikes at the very heart of what we do: access to justice for all.
We’re proud to be joining thousands of legal professionals including the Lady Chief Justice for the 2025 London Legal Walk, taking place on Tuesday 17th June. Together, we are raising vital funds for the London Legal Support Trust (LLST), which helps keep legal advice centres open across London and the South East.
Why We Walk
For many, the idea of accessing legal help feels impossible. With over 14 million people in the UK living in poverty, a growing number of individuals are facing urgent legal problems from housing and employment to family breakdown and domestic abuse without the means to get the support they need.
That’s where the LLST steps in. Through the organisations it supports, people are able to access free, life-changing legal advice that can help them keep their homes, protect their children, escape abuse or secure financial stability.
The NLS Team
This year, 27 staff members from across National Legal Service are lacing up their walking shoes for the cause. Our team includes Kieran Pereira, Malini Domah, Kerry Nichols, Beau French, Punam Kannas, Daniel Brown, Shama Butt, Ola Awosanya, Amie Dinan, Olivia Simpson, Harvey Daniel, Dexter Bonner, Jagjit Parmar, Martell Annin, Monica Sood, Adelina Morku, Sasee Muniandy-Logasuriyan, Antoinette Baffoe, Lucinda Shanly, Jon Chappell, Paul Scripps, Antony Starnes, Holly Woghiren, Faria Khan, Anika Tazneen and Normah Anderson.
Together, we are walking in solidarity not only as legal professionals, but as people who believe that no one should be denied access to justice because of their circumstances.
Every Step Counts
Every donation we receive will go directly towards protecting and preserving free legal advice services. With your support, LLST can continue funding the incredible work of charities who fight for the rights of the most vulnerable in society.
Whether you can give a little or a lot, your contribution will make a difference.
Please consider sponsoring our team and helping us walk towards a more just future.
Thank you for supporting National Legal Service and the London Legal Walk.
